The 39th IALD International Lighting Design Awards was announced online at 6 a.m. Beijing time this morning and an award ceremony was held. bpi won 4 awards this time, above 17% of the total awards. Exhibition Center of Humen TOD won the Award of Excellence; Chongqing Qiansimen Sales office and Shanghai Rock Bund won the Award of Merit; Mei Li Zhou Church won the Special Citations

国际照明设计师协会(IALD)成立于1969年。IALD国际照明设计奖是持续时间最长的国际奖项之一，表彰优秀的建筑照明设计。这个项目表彰那些达到新的高度，超越普通，在美学和技术设计成就方面表现卓越的照明设计。评判是一个严格而盲目的过程；只有那些表现出一贯的设计质量和技术专长的项目才会获得表彰。

The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) is established in 1969. The IALD International Lighting Design Awards program is one of the longest running international awards program recognizing excellence in architectural lighting design. The program honors lighting design that reaches new heights, moves beyond the ordinary and represents excellence in aesthetic and technical design achievement. Judging is a rigorous and blind process; only those projects demonstrating consistent design quality and technical expertise receive award recognition.

IALD Award of Excellence——Exhibition Center of Humen TOD

我们即将进入了跨城通勤的TOD新时代，展示中心通过极富动态变化的建筑轮廓体现新时代TOD的速度与无限可能。它以 “光·无限变化”为概念，通过灵动线条构筑出极具视觉冲击力的建筑轮廓，创造出极具特色的作品。

We are about to enter a new era of tod for cross-city commuting. The exhibition center reflects the speed and infinite possibilities of tod in the new era through a highly dynamic architectural silhouette. Based on the concept of "light·infinite change", it uses flexible lines to construct an architectural outline with great visual impact, creating highly distinctive works.

IALD优秀奖——重庆千厮门售楼处

IALD Award of Merit——Chongqing Qiansimen Sales Center

极具当地城市特色的重庆千厮门销售中心坐落于嘉陵江边。极简和繁复的空间设计，在空间中不断产生冲突和视觉化学反应，我们对室内材料进行了仔细研究，根据不同的材料属性，采用最佳照明方式内透发光、间接照明、利用金属反射直射光、为镜面金属提供反射光等，目的在于使销售中心呈现最佳状态。照明意在印象和具象之间的寻找突破口，并建立视觉焦点，光与空间协作引导参与者产生灵感和思考，展开对未来生活的无限美好畅想。 

Chongqing Qiansimen Sales Center is full of local element which is located near by the Jialing river. Minimalist and complex are combined in the space, create many spaces conflict and visual chemical reaction. We studied the indoor materials carefully, using the best lighting system according to different material, indirect lighting, direction from metal, provide self-lit element for mirror metal, etc.

Intended to find a breakthrough between impression and figurative to establish visual focus. Best illumination and space cooperation to guide participants to thinking and receive spiritual, and develop an infinite vision of future life.

IALD优秀奖——上海洛克外滩源

IALD Award of Merit——Shanghai Rock Bund

走进洛克•外滩源，随处可见历史风貌与现代设计的融合，使得新老建筑之间交相辉映，相得益彰。沿北京路和圆明园路展开的老墙，带着岁月的痕迹。我们用暖色光展现建筑，让红砖墙在夜间展现更加情感化的视觉效果。营造根植于外滩的生活体验灯光，体味独特内在的生活方式，以另类姿态独立夜景的外滩。

Walking into the Rock Bund, the integration of historic heritage and modern design abounds, making the old and new buildings bring out the best in each other. The old walls spreading along Beijing Road and Yuanmingyuan Road bear the traces of time. Warm colors are used to express the building, allowing the red brick wall to show a more emotional visual effect at night. Experiential lighting rooted in the Bund is created to provide a unique inner lifestyle, and make the building stand out from the night scenes at the Bund with a unique attitude.

IALD特别奖——美丽洲教堂

IALD Special Citations ——Mei Li Zhou Church

美丽洲堂位于树木茂盛的村庄，照明设计用三个维度的光塑造出自然的宗教空间。

时间：祷告台后的雾化玻璃，根据日光的变化平衡室内亮度。

场景：隐藏在屋顶根部30°角3000K的投光，让松木屋顶变得轻盈和温暖，并为信徒提供适合祈祷的间接光。

精神：明与暗的十字架出现在仪式与空间的始末，回应信仰，象征纯净与永恒。

Meilizhou Church is located in a wooded village. The lighting design uses three elements to create a sacred religious space.

Time: the translucency of photoelectric glass behind the altar can be changed to balance the indoor brightness level according to the sunlight.

Scene: two sets of lighting are hidden at the bottom of the sloped ceiling to enhance the space and provide a comfortable lighting environment for prayers.

Spirit: The cross is silhouetted when entering the church and it will appear lit at the end of the ceremony, which representing the faith, and symbolizing purity and eternity.
